[warmup]
I wanted to skip our warmup this morning so we'd have more time for our simulation on the start of World War I... but this snow has put a damper on our plans. So for warmup today tell me about your favorite summer day ever (either fictional or nonfictional). If you finish early make sure to work on this weeks (or for some of you last weeks) blog posts. 2 per week.
My favorite day of summer is my birthday even though it is like a week or two before school starts but i love it because since my birthday is in the summer i get to have my friends and stuff over for like half a week and my mom doesn't care if we make noise or nothing because it's my birthday weekend.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer day(week) was when we stayed in the milacs lake region. Isle days was going on at the time, and I talked to some cool people.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer day took place last summer. I was working at this camp and I had a day off and my mom, grandma, and a couple of my cousins came to. We went to this place called the iron mines (it's up north somewhere). When you get there the water is so blue it looks like you are at a tropical island. There was even a rope swing that we could use. We spent an hour there just having fun. - Chumani Wayd

ReplyDeleteWell, I guess one day when when the interspace travel fare was free because, I dunno, they were being nice? Anyhow, I decided to take a trip to Stellar23. Crazy, like I thought I had seen aliens before. I guess I just saw the lame kind before. The ones here were really nice, they gave me some mellowdip. It was delicious. The planet is like a canary yellow.

ReplyDeleteOther memories include fun times in Seattle, road trips, seeing new places, ice cream, cooking fresh tomatoes into tomato sauce, and so on. Like I said, no one day sticks out to me, my memory is a blur.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer day ever would be in Ethiopia. If i could go to Ethiopia for the whole summer, I would either be at the Edna Mall, the Sheraton Hotel to swim, or the Boston Day Spa. Ethiopia has the best summer. Plus, you can tan easily even if your just standing outside.

ReplyDeleteIn the books Pretty Little Liars, on the last day of school, the girls (Aria, Hanna, Ali, Spencer, and Emily) wanted to have a sleepover in the Spencer's barn. Little did they know that Ali was going to get murdered that night.
ReplyDeleteWhile they were in the barn, Ali asked the girls if they wanted to get hypnotized. At first they were hesitant but they all agreed to do it. Ali went to shut the blinds so she could hypnotize them but Spencer wanted the open so they got in an argument but they worked it out. All the girls were hypnotized by Ali and when they woke up, Ali was gone...and she never came back. dun, Dun, DUUUUNNNNN!!!!
My best summer ever was when I met Ponyo. She was just a little guppy swimming in the water when I found her and put her in my bucket. I took her home and named her Ponyo. She at my ham and I was sad but I didn't care she was my new best friend. One day though she was abducted by the water and taken back to the ocean and I was so sad. I had just lost my best friend. Then there was a huge storm and everything was flooded and my mom had to drive me back to the house in the weather because our house is at the top of the highest hill and is the safest spot. During the drive though I saw a girl RUNNING on the ocean currents right besides are car. I told my mom and she stopped the car but we had to move quickly to get home because the oceans where being ominous. Then when we got to our house I saw the girl again and then she ran right towards me and jumped me! At first I was a bit startled and confused but then I realized it was Ponyo. It was PONYO! I was so happy and she came in my house and then we had ramen and she had magic powers! She is my new best friend forever and ever and that is why that was my best summer ever!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer day was when I was in the Netherlands with Elsie. We got some cake at this bakery and biked all the way to this abandoned castle, which was apparently a haven for bats. We climbed up these stairs and ate cake at the top of them. At the time I didn't think much of the support beams, but now I realized that the castle could've collapsed on us! I suppose I wouldn't have minded much, as long as I finished my cake.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite summer day was when i got to play basketball in Indiana with some of the best players my age. It was fun and there was alot of scouts. We loss to the number three team in the nation but only by three.
