I don't know much about Jerusalem, just that a bunch of religions think it's the holy land. There's this important temple called Temple of the Rock and people just keep fighting over it. Christians want to build some... Church thing there because it says in the Revelations that if the end of the world is to take place you must "build a place of worship in the center of Jerusalem" or something along those lines, the other religions want to keep that temple there. Lots of religious wars to "liberate" the place, neither sides really won, and if they did the peace wasn't kept long. It's really just a mess. Other than that I don't know much about it.
ReplyDeleteI don't know a lot about the city of jerusalem besides that two religions there are against each other on different sides of the city. So i am going to talk about my weekend. I couldn't do anything this weekend so i had to stay in the house most of the weekend because i had to babysit some bad kids.

ReplyDeleteI don't really know anything about Jerusalem. Except that tycen told me jewish people hang out there. But, I never learned anything about it. I would like to find out more facts and information about the country.
ReplyDeleteWell I don't know anything about Jerusalem other then I believe that is the city of the Jews. So I guess I have to write about my weekend. Well it was great. On Friday my mom and I went shopping and I got a lot of new clothes. Saturday was the same as every Saturday. I went to church came ate lunch and played on my laptop. My mom, step-dad, and I watched TV waiting for my friend to come over. Once she got there we watch beauty and the beast, because the next day we were going to see Beastly. On Sunday we all woke up and got ready to go. We first went to the nail place. We were their for two maybe three hours after that we went to Mango's this amazing grill place. We then went to the movies. The movie was great even if was cheese. The whole day I got to drive me mom and friend around it was some much fun. - Chumani Wayd.

ReplyDeleteAnyway this weekend I slept all day everyday except when I ate.
It was awesome, and I also played pokemans and wii because I was really bored. Also me and elsie had a awesome sleepover and ate oreos and played bioshock. the end.
Lots of religions like it there, and say it's their home, other than that I don't really know much.
ReplyDeleteI watched tv this weekend and made art. My cousins birthday was sunday. I saw a lot of my sister which is pleasant because I never see her very much. I also read tattoo magazines.
I know that it is a holy city with lots of historical buildings. I remember learning that many historical events also happened there. I think it was the holy land.
ReplyDeleteI think that the city of jerusalem is pretty awesome in spite of the fued going on between the different religions I still think it's a pretty cool picture! They have lots of different religions and different type of people! I bet they have pretty good food! I know they pray a lot and they have there own place to pray and it is like heard all over jerusalem! Well that's pretty much it!
ReplyDeleteAll I know is that Jerusalem is the holly city and it's in the bible. Over the week end I just sat at home with my brother and played the game and watched tv.
ReplyDeleteWent to my dads this week end. I know stuff about Jerusalem but I just need to be refreshed on it. I worked out, ran 4 miles, lifted weights, all that jazz. I watched a marathon of ghost adventures. It was awesome. Ghosts are so cool. I totally believe in ghosts after watching this show over the years.
ReplyDeleteI dont really know much about Jerusalem but it has to do with the story of Jesus. My weekend was pretty good, I got to catch up on some sleep and just kinda chill out. I'm glad that its getting warmer, so I'll be able to do more fun things outside on the weekends.

ReplyDeleteJerusalem I really don't know much to say about it so I think I'm going to talk about my weekend it was good except for the basketball game we lost, but that is an exception because we played very good. I think next year we should be able to get a win or at least make it farther then we did this year.That is mainly what I did this hole weekend I really didn't do anything.

ReplyDeleteLast weekend all I did was play Sims on my iPod and me, Yesenia, and Andrew made me and Yesenia's video for this class. Also, we dogsat our neighbors dog and shes really cute and kinda ugly at the same time.
-My weekend was fun. Well first off I went to a friends house for the whole weekend and we had fun. Then I went to the basketball game on Saturday and we lost by like 15 points. Then Sunday I went to church. I was shaking and other stuff like that when I was in church. So now I am officially scared of church.

Well I know that Jerusalem is a city somewhere in the middle east. It is a religiously significant city for Christians, Jews, and Muslims. Before a few years ago the only thing I knew about it was that it had artichokes and my dad liked them. He grew Jerusalem artichokes a few summers. I had heard snippets of it from the news and such but I didn't really know what it was. I still don't know much more than I've already said.
ReplyDeleteWhat did I do this weekend? I went to my friend's birthday party. Incidentally, he is also my bandmate and we had practice with the rest of the band. So yeah we played a bunch of music and then pretty much partied all night and had a good old time. At one point there were twelve people at his house, and his house is not a big house. We also played this awesome game. There was a bowl of clothespins, so the object of the game was to attach clothespins to people's clothing without them noticing. It was hilariously fun. Of course I was so preoccupied with placing clothespins myself that I didn't notice the 8 that were on my back (I was wearing a baggy sweatshirt). We all had a good laugh at that one. That was saturday. I was so glad I had friday off. I was just relaxing, playing video games. Then I went biking around. I biked and took photographs everywhere and it was great. Although that whole day was tinged with sorrow for the good people of Japan.
I don't really know much about the city of Jerusalem except that it's the holy land so I guess i'll talk about my weekend. On Friday, I went driving with my instructor for the first time- it was scary. However, the next day I went driving with my dad and I was much more comfortable. I guess it's because I don't know the instructor as a person. My dad knows he can trust me (I think) so he gives me more freedom and is relaxed. I even went driving on the interstate! I hope I never get into any accidents, and that I become better at 90 degree backing, lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about Jerusalem except Christianity seems to come from there including Jesus. That's basically it... What I did this weekend though was try to teach my niece how to walk. She is the most adorable baby ever. I got her to stand up by herself for the first time ever and we got her to say mommy, daddy, yes and no. I also have been trying to convince my parents to get me a dog. Well I have been asking for one for a while now but it seems they are finally caving in. They have agreed to take me to an animal shelter/pound to walk a dog that I might like and maybe if all goes well I will guilt trip them into getting me the dog.I WANT ONE SOOOO BAD!!! >.<
ReplyDeleteI really dont know about the city of Jerusalem.On Friday I went to the mall with Newon and Jaquel.I went home and my cousin came over went to my auntie's house for a get together.On Saturday I went to my cousin's birthday party and went home and played the Micheal Jackson game on the Wii.On Sunday I went to church and than I went house.I walked to my uncle's house to see this little boy they were watching.
ReplyDeleteMMmh, I can't really think of a city in Jerusalem.. But my weekend was pretty good, because it started early because their were conferences Thursday night. But I had went to the boys basketball game on Thursday night and they played this team in St.Paul. They had won that game. Then friday I hung out with Akil. Then Saturday I hung out with my grandma and my mommy. Then sunday was like a chill day, for me.
ReplyDelete- This weekend , started on Friday morning .. I was sick and still to this day i am still sick . I have a cold from Jamir Hopson . Im a lot better than before but still a little sick. Friday I stayed at home all day . Then i had to go to work from 4 to 7 . Saturday I went to Amber Groen house . Stayed there till Sunday and we went to the mall and Ben & Jerry's to see an friend . Then Sunday I went home and slept most of the day .

ReplyDeleteWell on friday, I went to go hang out with friends, we went into the building of the park. The park had movie night and had popcorn, etc.
Saturday, i went to my Aunt house and hung out with her 4 dogs!
Sunday, was a very chill day because i was lazy and the next day, i had to go to school.
