What are you listening to?

[warmup]
I'm headed to Atlanta for spring break (to visit my younger brother) and I need some new media for the plane ride there and back...
1) Suggest some music, a movie, or game for in flight.
-What makes it so great? How did you originally find out about it? Why would I like it?

ALSO open up your homework so Mr. Hannan can come around and check you off for having the first 8 boxes completed.

    Music: Eminem, Slim Shady, Rabbit, Marshal Mathers.
    Books: Wolverine, X-Men Wolverine, James Howllet, Logan
    Movie: X Men Origins Wolverine, Transformers 1 & 2, Iron Man 1 &2

    For some music I say some tupac or biggie smalls. What makes it great are the lyrics. I found out about them because of my mom,dad,tv, and other family.

    This guy named frank ocean. His music is VERY relaxing thats what makes it so great. I personally listen to the whole album almost once a day. I usually listen while doing homework. I think you would like it just because its mellow and nice to kick back and relax to.

    Get the 3ds, its really cool!!! Or read endersgame if you haven't already, its a great book.
    A good comedy movie to watch is cannibal the musical, (its my favorite movie too )-actually, any movie by trey parker and matt stone is great.

    Ummm... Well I actually just heard about this new kid named Tyler, The Creator. You may not like his music, but I like one of his songs called Yonkers. He is a different kind of artist which I think is why he's cool. I also like Wiz Khalifa cause he's kind of new to the game. But IDK maybe we got different taste.

    When I'm flying on a plane, I think of where i'm going and how its going to look when I get there.
    I get some hubba bubba gum to chew so my ears don't pop. Then I either go to sleep, read a book, color or watch one of the movies they have on the plan.

    There's only two I can think of: 1. Amadeus and 2. Brazil. They're both really entertaining movies, they are both funny and dark. Amadeus is very interesting because it is fictional, but there's some historical elements to it. Brazil is just an interesting movie, I bet when it was made it was kind of like Inception, it's really good, but you could get confused at some points. Both of these movies are really good and i suggest you check them out.

    I have no good music at least to people I know, but I really like Skillet they are a Christian rock band, People like them even thou. I started listening to them when I heard about them for my step-dad. I don't know if you would like it or not, but it good music if you like rock type stuff.

    For a movie I would recommend Hellraiser 2. And it is awesome for an eighties movie, well there are a few awesome ones but that's not the point. I found out about it from my uncle and mom since they were so disturbed by it. But I tell you it's awesome, and super interesting. For music I suggest System of a down because their a really smart band with a lot of amazing music. some good songs- aerials, streamline, American dream denial, johnny, and pretty much anything by them is great.
    That or hole, because hole is my most favorite best band in the world.

    Just sleep as much as you can. Buy a DS, get the game Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, or the Glory of Herakles.

    I would highly suggest getting on of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic zeros' CD Up From Below.

    It's really good CD because it's a new age band that sounds as if they still think it's the 60's. There music is up beat and happy.

    I found out about the band from a person that I know named Hannah. While working at Menogyn as dish washer, we listening to that CD almost everyday. Anyways, It's a really good band. If you like the band Arcade Fire I can almost Garnette that you will like this band.

    you should also check out the solo work by jonny greenwood (radiohead guitarist). he's done the score for three films: bodysong, there will be blood, and norwegian wood. I think the first two are really good and would be a great listen.

    I have also been listening to some Bjork, specifically her 2007 album Volta which is nice.

    As for movies, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Moon, The Hurt Locker, Wall-E, Full Metal Jacket, etc.

    Well scene you are flying you should listen to soft slow music to make you fall asleep because I wouldn't like to be up on a flight so that's what I will do. I really don't know what movie you should on there because i don't know what types of movies you like.

    I just put some new Paramore songs and some French songs by Joyce Jonathan on my iPod.

    Watch the Butterfly Effect like Yesenia said!!!

    Tetris is fun. So is Bejeweled Blitz. And Sims Ambitions is pretty fun too.

    One of my favorite bands is the dresden dolls. I've also recently taken a liking to fitz and the tantrums. If you don't know them it might be worth checking out. *shrug*

    For movies you could watch The Tourist. Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie are in the movie. It is a very good movie. You could also download your favorite TV shows on iTunes.
    For music you could listen to Fefe Dobson, The Fray, or even Owl City (The Technicolor Phase- Owl City, How To Save A Life- The Fray, & Stuttering- Fefe Dobson).
    For games (if you have an iPod Touch) you could download the Angry Birds game, Mancala, Air Hockey, or The Fruit Ninja game. If you don't have an iPod Touch, bring some cards or just doodle on notebook paper. Bring some colored pencils, pencils, or pens.
