    -When the question is simple.
    2) What makes a poor test question?

  4. One that helps us learn. A bad question would be something that doesn't relate or isn't a major part in the topic. I believe that either creating or Evaluating would be the easiest. The hardest would be applying or understanding. I hate long answer questions. I like multiple choice. -Chumani Wayd

  6. A good question isn't vague on the answer, or there can't be multiple answers (unless it is made to be so.)
It has to be straightforward, if a question is worded in a confusing way then there isn't a chance for it to be answered.
Ex: Where did Jesus travel in the missing years?
    a. There are theories, but we don't know
    b. Jerusalem
    c. Asia, to study with monks
    d. Heaven
Stupid question in the first place, but it doesn't beat around the bush to get to the actual question. The answers are all good answers, which gives the student to think about it, but only one answer that is absolutely correct. That is, "a" we don't know for sure.
I guess for writing and all that good stuff the questions should let on an open question. Asking stuff like: "Did the cat catch the mouse, why or why not?" is silly because it's a yes or no question. The "why or why not" is just annoying in cases like this because if a cat caught a mouse... There isn't a "why" it's more of a "how" there isn't much to explain why or why not it caught a mouse. Especially if you need to write out a page on a question like this.
    I guess.

  7. 1.I think a good test question is when you have to actually work out the problem if it is math. If it is reading you have to go back and look at the article and eliminate some of the answers i think that makes a good test question.

2.If it is multiple choice i think a poor test question is when you can just eliminate all of the answers except for one.

3.I think the easiest one is analyzing.

4.I think the hardest one for me is understanding

    5.No i do not.

  11. 1. I think a good test question is an easy to read sentence that is based off the information.

    2. I hate test questions that try to trick you with the way they put the words. It doesn't really help.

    3. I like the understanding category because it is just based off the information given to you in the reading.

    4. Remembering is the hardest category because you have to read it first, then answer the questions directly which is hard to remember.

    5. My favorite is the understanding because you just need to read the reading thoroughly and then write your answer out.

  15. I think the best part about a good test question is clarity. I dislike it when a question isn't clear because it makes it really hard to pick the right answer. Multiple choice questions don't lend well to open-ended philosophical concepts, you know?

I think probably the easiest questions to answer are the remembering ones. If you remember it, great, if you don't, that sucks but you can move on. There is no struggle or mental might needed to do a memory question.
I think the hardest questions to answer are the ones that involve applying and creating. Those questions require that you not only remember the information, but you understand it on such a deep level that you can create new things based off the information.

Personally I enjoy the opinion questions because... well... I like to share my opinion. It's also a chance to stick it to the education man. Most of the other questions are multiple choice; they are simply graded by an automated laser. But I really like the idea that an actual person reads the words that I write, and I try and take that opportunity to make a mark on that person.
