Pull up the reflective essay you wrote earlier this semester. Spent 10 minutes reviewing, grammar checking and cleaning it up. Afterwards, post it to your blog (it should be your second entry). If you don't have you essay write a new one (assignment is in my drop box). If you didn't do you first post (welcome and introduction) write it. If you haven't started the blog yet start it.

History is everywhere and to learn it is important. To learn history though you need a proper environment and energy. Nothing will be easy to learn but the effort that is put into something will surely be rewarded. Things that did work is the projects and what didn’t was my lack of effort. There is lots of things that I look forward to as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat is working well is that I get really interested when it comes to class games and also like when we have projects like our current project of the diaries. I really am enjoying that project since I am not given strict instructions. I’m able to do what I want with it. Like I am making a website. I really enjoy making website and crafting them from scratch because every time I edit one I find something new I can add to it to make it more interesting. Wix also has tools that can make it look like a diary with old accents but still interesting at the same time.
Some things that are not working well is that I find myself wandering away from the assignments a lot. I get distracted very easily and find myself doing other things. I usually get myself back on track but only to repeat the process and wander off again. I know this is on me though since I am responsible for my own success and teachers are supposed to guide me, but they can’t force me to follow along.
What I want for second semester? This is a difficult and vague question to me. What I want basically is to learn as much as possible and get a good grade in the class. I want to be a journalist in the future or something with writing. To be a writer I am pretty sure history influences it since history influences everything. Constantly repeated. There for I want to learn everything and use it to my advantage in the future. I know it is impossible but if I learn a lot then I’m pretty sure my future will be at least slightly easier.
Well what did work was the projects but what didn’t work was my lack of interest in some parts of the class. I also am looking forward honestly to what is to come from this semester. Hopefully it will be a lot more insightful than the last. I will try to put as much effort in this class and hopefully it will be rewarded. History is created constantly as we speak and to learn it is to have a future.
