-we are all apart of roman culture
ReplyDelete-no,and im not sure why i dont agree but i dont
-it would be fun to hear stories about the ancient Romans.
"We are heirs of Roman Culture whether we like it or not!"
ReplyDeletei think this means we have taken alot from the roman culture and the way we live is similar and there is nothing to change about it because thats just how life turned out.
I agree with this fully because we have adapted a lot from history in the past
Roman culture is the same as ours, nearly. There's a city, in that city there are levels of society, and in those levels people have different jobs. When the Romans conquered land, they did not tightly enforce their religion, instead just letting the people go on their ways with their own form of religion. (Not counting the hunt for christians, which I think was at the end of the golden age...) So just like the romans we have cities, levels, jobs, and different religions. And wars. Western culture started somewhere, so I would think it started pretty much during that era.
ReplyDeleteI would like to learn more on the battle tactics, warfare, government, architecture, leaders etc. I've learned a lot about the culture, fashions, foods and lifestyles but very little about anything else.
"We are heirs of the Roman culture whether we like it or not." I think that this means that either their fathers brought up the Roman culture and they will get it once they pass over or it could mean that they brought up the Roman culture and made it what it is and that they are the rightful heirs even if they don't want to be in that position. I don't really know if I should a agree with this quote, but what I do believe is you can do something and think that, that is just it. I think I would like to know who the different leaders of the empire were and how they can to end.
ReplyDeleteSo if we are the heirs, I think it means that we are next in line to take over the thrown.
ReplyDeleteI agree with it because some were born into the Roman culture and are asked to carry on that culture. But I don't know to much about the Roman culture besides the fact that they were gladiators.
We are the next people in line to take over our culture. It means that we will all pass on something in the culture. We will all get older and we will be the leaders of our culture. yes i do agree with it because roman culture is connected to western civilization.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the quote because I think we all wether we like it or not have something in common with one another. I think it would be awesome to come from Rome. Then I could go there :D
ReplyDeleteWe are all in some way roman. I kinda agree with this quote because the roman empire was really strong and they ruled the world. I would like to learn about the roman army.
ReplyDeleteWhat i think what it means is that they saying dat we r apart of culture and we can't help it
ReplyDeleteThis quote is basically saying this: So much of western culture is from ancient rome, that you have to accept it even if you don't like it.
ReplyDeleteI do agree with this quote. Although I don't know a whole lot about ancient Rome, I do know that a lot of the things people did there and in Greece has a big influence on western (the united states and europe) cultre today. This mostly lies in philosophy, music, and drama. I mean, the greeks and romans invented theatre; they invented things like "drama", "tragedy", and "mythology", so to say that ancient rome does not influence culture today would be folly and hubris
The quote in my terms is "All that we know has been influenced and originated by Roman culture in someway."
ReplyDeleteI agree that many things may have been founded on the Roman culture.
I want to learn about the Roman stadium and entertainment.
1. Even if you don't like it we are descendants of the roman culture.
ReplyDelete2. Eh. Not everyone is Roman. Good for whoever is.
3. The culture, lol. I know, it's a pretty broad topic.
1) Were all sons and daughters of Roman Culture
ReplyDelete2) We are a lot of things come from their culture and we use it in our every day life.
3) About there wars and buildings
-This quote restated:We are the people next in line for the thrown weather we like it or not.
ReplyDelete-I agree with this quote because they are keeping up the roman culture and if people just got to choose who came next everything would be uncivilized.
-I want to learn bout how the Romans took the Greek Gods.
1) Restate the quote in your own words? What does it mean?
ReplyDeleteEveryone is a heir to Roman culture.
2) Do you agree with this quote? Why or why not?
I don't know because I would have to look at a HUGE family tree of everyone.
3) What in particular do you wish to learn from or about the ancient Romans? If you don't know specific things what in general? (I don't know, nothing and similar responses will not work as answers.)
I don't think I've ever seen pictures or heard about Roman women so maybe we could learn about their lives.
"We are heirs of Roman Culture whether we like it or not!"
ReplyDelete1) Restate the quote in your own words? What does it mean?
We are the people next in line for the thrown, weather we like it or not.
2) Do you agree with this quote? Why or why not?
No, because I think that we should be able to make our own decisions in life.
3) What in particular do you wish to learn from or about the ancient Romans? If you don't know specific things what in general? (I don't know, nothing and similar responses will not work as answers.)
I want to know like how was their lifestyle, like what did they do in their daily life.
1.we are the people next in line for the thrown weather we like it or not.
ReplyDelete2.I don't agree with his quote because you decide your own future or present so therefore no you don't have to weather you like it or not.
3. for roman i want to learn about anything my teacher throws at us i really dont care.
1. "We are future kings of the Roman Culture whether we like it or not!"
ReplyDelete2. I kind of don't get the meaning of the quote. So I don't agree with it because I don't think that everyone is an heir of Roman Culture.
3. What I would want to learn about the Romans is the battles and their culture.
we are the people next in line for the thrown whether you like it or not.
ReplyDeleteI don't agree because the people should be able to choose who is next in line.
I want to learn more about what went on at that time.A little about the kings and queens and how they work situations out.
The romans shaped all of our culture. We are what the romans made us.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done enough research about the romans to know or not.
About their architecture.
"We are heirs of Roman Culture whether we like it or not!"
ReplyDelete1) Restate the quote in your own words? What does it mean?
Ancient Rome is an influences modern day life, whether you believe it or not.
2) Do you agree with this quote? Why or why not?
I agree. Every single culture is influencing modern life.
3) What in particular do you wish to learn from or about the ancient Romans? If you don't know specific things what in general? (I don't know, nothing and similar responses will not work as answers.)
