I like earth day. Here in MN it's just a reminder. In the bay area of California, it's a holiday. I think it's important in both places. In MN it gets people to be eco friendly for a day, but where I am from it not only gets people to think about the world, it also get's people together and shows that fun is still possible without ruining the world.
