What makes a good game? Well I think what makes a good game is when people are having fun and they want to play the game. It's fun to play against or with people that are upbeat and have fun even if losing. Because if someone is not having fun or being a sore loser then it's no fun to play a game with them because there is only complaining and that could bring everyone down
ReplyDeleteIt has to be a fun game. If you are playing with your friends it can turn into a fun game. IF that person is funny, not wild and can actually follow the rules.

ReplyDeleteI have to make this quick NOTHING IS GOOD IN AN EDUCTION GAME. It's endlessly frustrating and if you get one thing wrong you feel terrible.

I think the most important part of a game is that it is fair and balanced. This refers to two things: first, the mechanics of the game can't get in the way of the skill of the players. What I mean by this is, there shouldn't be anything that hinders the skill of good players or boosts the skill of bad players. I believe that games need to be minimal and not cheap, so that all players are judged solely on skill, and not on the strength of the tools that they are using.
ReplyDeleteThe other part of fairness is this: a game shouldn't crush a player, only other players should. This is what I think fails when people try and make a game. Good games give everyone an equal chance to win. This is why games like Monopoly and Halo are so popular; they take skill for sure, and the more you play the better you get, but the games give everybody a chance to get better and ultimately win. END

It's fun playing with friends instead of people who you don't know very well because otherwise it gets really boring.
-The things that make games fun is if you are into what you are doing and if you like the game you are playing. Also you have to be enthusiastic.

ReplyDeleteWhat makes a game good is that it's interesting, fun, and easy to play (or at least to me). I like to play with someone if they're funny, on the same playing level as me, and that's about it actually. I don't have three reasons.

- A open mind , so that you are willing to do anything in the game.
- Have a good attitude, so that you don't ruin anybody's fun.
-pay attention to what's going, it will make the game go fast.
A game is fun when it is competitive, interesting, and when it makes you think and strategize.
