my favorite greek god is ares because he is the god of war. They are known for being a great fighter. Because when you are in a religion you have to follow certain rules but if you are a god you don't have to follow any rules you can do whatever you want.

My favorite God or Goddess would have to be Poseidon, because he is the God of the Sea and my favorite thing to do is swimming and the water helps me relax and it makes all my worries melt away. Poseidon is know for being the God of the Sea/water. For the third question I have no idea how he helps out society.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Greek God is Hades because even though he rules the Underworld, he's not evil, it's just where he lives. He is known for taking dead people to the Underworld.

ReplyDeleteWell, obviously Greek mythology gods are different because they have a more... Physical shape. While the two religions we studied before was more of a mental god. Hinduism is similar because both religions have god for nearly everything, and I would bet they have a god of decision somewhere,
My favorite god is Ares god of war. He is known I think because he killed his father when no one else could. And the beliefs in him are different because I think people believe that he is the reason war happens.

3.They are different because the Greek had many Gods and the other didn't have as many except Hinduism and Greek gods where more to explain everything that happens the others are more to respect everything around them and higher than them.

She is the goddess of the hunt, wild animals, child birth, and virginity.

The Daoism religion wouldn't be much different because they are both about nature.

3. Well first of all, she's a goddess so she's nothing near taoism and confucianism. However, she's similar to Hinduism because the also have gods and goddesses like the Greeks.
Well I suppose my favorite god is Athena (goddess of war). I don't really know why since we don't know a WHOLE lot about teh gods. I don't really think there is any parallel in Buddhism Taoism or Hinduism. I know there is Shiva, the god of destruction. But I feel that the Greek Gods are a lot more human-like than any other gods. With this, Athena is the goddess of war (human quarrels). While Shiva is more responsible for recycling things. He is more universal than Athena who is just sort of a super-person.

The mctc trip was okay i really liked when we went to the kitchen and saw the students cooking. I loved going to the phycology and law house it was cool to figure out that you can take classes of such things in high school and get the college credits in high school.
My favorite greek god is Hera because she is the god of marriage and was the queen of Olympians.She is known for Zeus's wife.Buddhism and Hera are different because Hera stress herself out just to destroy people and buddhism is a way to not stress out.
