Pretty much he's saying not to be a jerk about it, whatever "it" is. Say someone looks like they've been thrown into a blender and therefore look terrible. You don't tell them "You look like someone threw you into a blender." You ask if they're okay, or if they want something blah blah. And if something bad happened you're nice to them, so you're healing them with words.

I think it is talking about that we can hurt people with words, but some of our words we can help them. With in that if you do good in our words then we can help the world be a better place that can not be filled with war and hate. I do agree with this because with one word we can lose everything, but with one word we can also gain a lot and we can help the world be a better place by just talking and using nice words

I sort of do.
I think he is talking more about ideas than words. Words are simply ideas in convenient packages. When an idea is true and kind, it can inspire people to do great things. Things like religion can push people like Mother Teresa to do wonderful things for the world, and it all starts with an idea in your head. Think of all the powerful things you can do if you know how to persuade people, if you know how to convince people. You can do a lot of great deeds and a lot of terrible deeds with only words.

This quote is talking about that words can sometimes have a huge impact depending on what you say and if they are the truth the impact is even greater or severe.

Although depending who you are to the person you are telling something and depending how honest you are can also determine the impact. Words with no feeling or honesty are just letters clumped together. Might as well be gibberish.

its saying that words are incredibly powerful and they can be used for good or evil. When people use words they can make other people do things that they want. I agree a lot with this because I have experienced this before.

ReplyDeleteIts like the goddess with people around her who are trying to brig her down from her thrown. She is very pretty and looks like a queen. But then there are people on the other side who are the good people.
I believe this quote is talking about how words can make one feel. Such as hurting someone's feelings or making someone smile. I agree with this quote because I think your words are very powerful. You can speak and change the world but you have to make the decision if you want to make it positive or negative.
