I like it because they have china and they make about everything and i heard that they are so futuristic.

I think that the mountains somewhat shelter smaller societies from the rest of the world. This might be why asia's customs are considered different from america and the rest of the world. The mountains can also stop people from traveling to see relatives, so maybe it can cause relatives to live closer together,
ReplyDeleteThe Himalayas are huge, I bet it effects weather all the time. The ground is probably not all that fertile around the base either. It was probably a good war tactic, too, it's huge natural wall. And hey, if your army knows the terrain and not the enemy it's your win.
ReplyDeleteI think this part of the world is really cool. Anywhere where there are mountains it's cool. I mean, I've lived on flat lands my whole life, seeing a slight rise in the horizon is exciting. XD
There are very snowy mountains, which makes it harder for people to get around and travel
ReplyDeleteI think that it's beautiful place well just looking at it maybe in person, but many people climb these mountains and many people die from climbing them.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of snowy mountains. Hard to travel if someone lives on the other side of the mountain. It is probably cold so they have to wear thick clothing.
ReplyDeleteThere may not be many cars since the mountains make it hard to get around on it. It seems like there isn't much technology.
ReplyDeleteI think that this area of the world would be extremely difficult to live in due to the cold and isolation. This past summer I read the book "Into thin air" by jon krakauer (Into the wild,where men win glory), and that is mainly how I got the impression of this area.
ReplyDeleteLiving in the mountains cuts you off from many things that many people take for granted. People have to work up to 10x harder to do things there compared to Minneapolis.
I think it really beauitful there and theres a lot oof markets there. I think that the mountains is in the way of the poeple walking

1. I think it must be very cold.
ReplyDelete2.Difficult because you would have to constantly consider the low temperature in everyday tasks.
3. It might give them a source of fresh water from the snow as well. It may also attract tourists to see the mountains.
I think its a very exotic interesting part of the world. I look forward to finding out more about it.

The mountains attract tourists and climbers that want to climb the mountains. They also create the v-shaped valley that the village is in.

3. To live in that area of the world would probably be a little warmer (climate wise) and there would be more mountain ranges around you.
I think this area has a deal of poverty. It would be hard for someone like me to live in this area, unclean water is a no-no. Since the area is by mountains it might be a bit cooler and harder to travel by foot or car.

I think it's a really pretty region with a rich cultural history. It would be a lot different than a lot of places in America. There is a lot less surplus and everything is low-tech. To the people living around it, the Himilayan Mountains are sacred and cherished. It would be weird to live at the base of a mountain that i thought was holy and have people from all around the world travel to my village to climb it.
